My film was part of Doc'n Roll London and I had a really great experience throughout the process. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. As a first-time filmmaker, it was great to have the festival directors' support and guidance - they were so patient when I asked questions about how everything worked! It was amazing to have my film screened at a real cinema in London!
You can really tell that Vanessa and Colm are committed to running a professional festival which champions both experienced and early-career documentary makers. If you've put your heart and soul into making a music doc, apply to Doc'n Roll because they will give your film the time and respect it deserves.

I wasn't able to attend this fest but was extremely happy to have my film selected for it. Director Forde was a pleasure to deal w/and always on top of every detail. He was also enthusiastic and remarkably accessible, communicative and helpful throughout the process. Doc'n rock on!

We had a blast at our Doc'n Roll Screening and they organized a great after-party close by. If you have a music related documentary you have to apply to this amazing festival! They are passionate about music and documentaries and like most indie filmmakers are DIY themselves. Outstanding venue in central London. Highly recommended!
