5 Steps to Get Sari's Heart

Soleh, a shy school security guard, fell in love with Sari, the school's cleaning service. One day, Soleh received a call from his brother telling him about his mother's deteriorating health, therefore forcing Soleh to come home right away bringing his fiancee. Fortunately, Soleh discovered a VCD titled "5 Steps to Get a Girl !!!". Soleh began to try so hard becoming a bad boy by following the steps provided by that VCD just to try and win Sari's heart.

Adrian was born on October 14, 2001, in Bekasi, Indonesia. Adri decided to explore the world of filmmaking after making short films as a hobby since high school. He went to a film school at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara.

Director Statement

Love and the feeling of wanting someone felt by many people. The desire to love and to be loved often drives people to achieve many things in their life. Soleh, a security guard at a private school in the city of Jakarta has this desire of Love. He fell in love with Sari, a janitor who has only worked at his school for 3 months. Soleh wants to approach Sari so he can marry her because his family beg him to have a marriage as soon as possible. Sari may look like a sweet woman responding to Soleh’s effort. But behind that, Sari has another plan, which is to steal valuables from her school. Soleh felt that the universe was on her side for a moment. But in reality, it is just a simple thing that leads to a bigger problem. Bigger than just romantic relationships.
