As a filmmaker, I am driven by the power of storytelling to connect people, spark dialogue, and inspire change. My work focuses on exploring personal and community narratives, often highlighting underrepresented voices and issues that deserve greater attention.
Community Pathways: Connecting to the World was born out of a desire to showcase the transformative potential of education and community support. Similarly, 5 Facts on Recovery aimed to shed light on the complexities of eating disorders and recovery, a topic that holds deep personal significance for myself and others and continues to be a critical issue in Maine and beyond.
I believe film is a powerful medium for empathy and understanding, and I strive to create work that not only informs but also resonates emotionally with audiences. Whether through documentary or fiction, my goal is to tell stories that matter—stories that challenge, inspire, and ultimately bring us closer together.
As I continue my studies at Columbia University, I am excited to further refine my craft, explore new techniques, and tell stories that push boundaries and spark meaningful conversations.
