Anthony Pizarro is an Actor, Writer, and Director, who grew up in New York City. He has been in the industry for over 10 years. Having started his career in Improvisation, Anthony worked in two troupes among Manhattan's Gotham City Improv School. His journey then took him to the acclaimed T. Schreiber Studios, under teacher Mary Boyer.
Anthony began doing auditions after that, which got him several small roles. A combination of both Motion Capture (THQ's Saints Row, Absolut), to Background Roles (Red Doors, Duplicity), to Short Films (Papi, Shadow Men, 4Aces), led him to his current place.
After having done many auditions throughout the years, and working in small roles, Anthony decided that instead of countless auditions, that it was time to create work. To make his own path to success. His next step was to go behind the camera. "I have so many ideas that I put down on paper. I wanted to flesh these ideas out. Write, direct, and still act as well. I wanted to stop having other people make things happen for me, and try to make things happen for myself".
Anthony sought out a friend, whom he worked with, in Gus Scharr, to move to the next phase in his career. Both men sat down, and decided to come up with a team that would have them produce, direct, write, and possibly star in several short films. This is Anthony's plan going forward.
"The goal is to create moving content. To make something truly great, that people enjoy, whether it be comedy, action, or drama. I have so many ideas that I want to explore, and in each film we do, we are getting better and better. I want the world to see the work we do. I want to be successful at it, because, I believe, I truly have great ideas, and a vision that will be something to see. I just need people to see it, and believe it too"
I want to take the time to Thank each and everyone who has both watched, and supported this project. I got this idea while filming a separate project. I wanted to create a dialogue driven piece that was a central location, and not too many moving parts. Something that had an impact through action and dialogue. A film with a good twist ending. I came up with this film. I believe that it is cleverly written and with foreshadowing displayed through the film, really sets up the moment. A typical Short Film template.
