Special Dinner and a Movie presentation
Pasquale earned a PhD, MA, and BA in Theater and Film. Taught Theater at USC and created two non profit Theater Companies during a career that has spanned over thirty years. He has taught and has written, produced, and directed: plays, commercials, shorts and features. Pasquale has created educational, industrial, instructional, documentary, and promotional videos for a variety of clients and is working on several digital cinema projects. He Volunteer Teaches Theater to 4th and 5th, graders at Hoover Elementary in Los Angeles were they are working on a post modern adaptation of 'Wizard of Oz' entitled 'No Place Like Home'. His next digital cinema projects are "Skin Song" a journey into the World of Tattoos and "Escape from Clown Prison" written by Lee Murphy and Sam Pitassi. This 'triple threat trio' worked together on a play; "Out of Season" written by Lee and Sam, which the trio produced and was directed and designed by Pasquale and presented in Benefit performances for the Professional Dancers Society of Los Angeles at a studio and theater donated to PDS by Bob Hope. Sam, Ted Kline and Pasquale designed and refurbished the 80 seat Theater under the guidance of the then PDS President Lysa Kline.
The Flight of the Gypsy Nightingale is my first feature length venture in digital cinema. I met Christina at an event sponsored by the Los Angeles Swiss Consulate. My wife, Dora Krannig who heads the Dance Program at Glendale Community College, was presenting several Dance pieces featuring GCC students for the event. As it turned out, Christina had been a student of Dora's at USC. So during the immediate reunion Christina gave us a 'catch up' biographical history of her life post USC. I found the story of her adventures in Entertainment Land to be intriguing, diverse, and funny. With the emphasis on FUN. So I invite you to join on this journey into and through the Life and Times of The Gypsy Nightingale, friends and family... from Bubble Bath Aria to the Body Painting Operatic Finale.
