After graduating from Canterbury University with a first class degree in Architecture in 2012, Chris decided to chase his dreams of entering the film industry.
Early 2013 he was hired by highly respected London production company Wilder Films as a writer and animator, leading the motion graphics department on various projects from feature documentaries 'Follow The Money', and 'Working Class Heroes', to smaller in-house productions.
Chris is a keen writer and director, with various awards under his belt, including Best Film & Best Director at the 48 hour Film Project, with his short 'And Not A Word Was Spoken'. A parody film noir about a man trapped inside his own internal monologue.
He's also won countless screenwriting awards for his comedy feature script 'Trance State Nation', about "a drugged-out, self-proclaimed private investigator who is mistaken as an MI6 agent when he inadvertently snaps a Polaroid of a drug lord."
Chris began work on his most recent production, 'Draft Eight', late 2014.
'Draft Eight' is a short film centred around elderly novelist Douglas Stader, as he converses with his new character; a literature based version of his younger self. Together, they outline the character's ever-changing personality in attempt to write a fictionalised autobiography of their life, amending regretful memories.
The film is being entered into international festivals as of January 2016.
