Director Statement

Raven In The Sky was directed by Nice Guy Johnny frontman John E.K. This is John E's first attempt at directing any type of video. In a recent interview he laughs saying " I've been directing the band for years how hard could it be. All kidding aside suicide is a tough subject to tackle. When I introduced the song to the band they were less than enthused but as time rolls on I think they appreciate it. Now try to make a video that will be provocative and not offend anyone. That was the hard part! I think we accomplished that and with total views approaching 100,000 I may have done the song proud. I turned to my wife Tobi to do the video work and I think she captured everything we wanted to in a way that doesn't offend. The feedback so far has been amazing with several calls and emails from people who have lost someone to suicide. Saying this song has helped them understand another side of this. The side of releasing themselves because they have been struggling. So you see in my mind after hearing this Raven In The Sky is already a hit can you ask for any more? " John E.K.
