'The measurement of the Earth - from the plain to the blue marble' is a documentary of 34' about the measurement of the Earth: from the Antiquity, when the world was a deep mystery, till the XXI century, when digitalization has introduced Cartography into daily life. Facts and ideas are shown through illustrations and animations together with films made on relevant places of Barcelona, Mallorca, Madrid, Ceuta, Paris and London.

Director Biography - Xavier Berenguer

Xavier Berenguer is an engineer who works on digital media since he cofounded in 1984 at Barcelona Animàtica, one of the first european computer animation companies. He has written and/or directed two CD-ROMs, two TV series and several videos on science and technology. He has published articles on digital media and some tales; actually he maintains three blogs on astronomy images.
