Steven is a native of Bloomfield, N.J. At a very young age Steven was intrigued by carnival and amusement park rides. When he was four-years old his family went on vacation to Disney World. Even at the age of four he knew that he wanted to be involved within the theme park industry. As Steven got older he realized that these magical parks offered three consistent values; escape, pleasure and history. At the same time Steven enjoyed watching movies and reading all about how they were made. He knew that the craft and mastery of what went on behind the camera is where the "puzzle" was really put together. One of his hobbies consisted of drawing carnival rides and sketching designs of roller coasters. When Steven attended grammar school he kept a composition book of these designs. In high school he decided to put these ideas on the back burner and focused on something more tangible in relation to designing structures. Taking four CADD classes in high school gave Steven the exact edge he needed to design. He next attended William Paterson University where he seized the opportunity to break out from behind the desk to behind the camera and graduated in 2009 with a BA in Communications with his concentration in Film Studies. Steven has since then been writing, filming and directing his own independent films that evolve mostly around the amusement park and theme park scene.
Filming on location makes the film more authentic.
