With a degree in journalism, Dianne Becker worked almost two decades in television news and produced documentaries. Leaving her television job, she visited mission fields and continued telling stories through documentaries.
Several people had told me about Elinor Young - who was forced to retire as an overseas missionary with health problems from Post Polio Syndrome. When I met Elinor in 2002, she expressed desire to return to Papua for a visit. I felt that would be the time to document her story. She found wonderful archive footage and photos to help tell her story. A sidebar short is the event she returned to Papua for — the dedication of the New Testament in the Kimyal language. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9dpmp_-TY0
