Writer Statement

"En Route" is my debut screenplay about a woman who is traveling alone in the Low Country and is stranded where other women have recently disappeared. A friend has land he named "Duhara" and its rural isolation, the swamps and marsh gave the setting. The store, bridge, and cabin in the story are actual places, as well as the eldritch descriptions of the Low Country. I hope you enjoy the read as much as I enjoyed the writing.
