After graduating with an MFA from USC's School of the Cinematic Arts, Amitabh quickly moved into directing and producing branded content for global brands and institutions like the Obama Administration, Warner Brothers, Paramount, Complex Magazine, The Big Ten Network, The Cold War Kids, Rilo Kiley, Global Green, Russell Simmons, The Chive, Shepard Fairey, Focus Features and many others. His short films have played as official selections in numerous prestigious festivals around the world including the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, The Tribeca Film Festival, The Palm Springs International Short Film Festival, The San Diego Film Festival, The Rome International Film Festival, The Ojai Film Festival, The Miami Independent Film Festival and The Newport Beach Film Festival among many others. In 2015 Amitabh broke into creating one-hour dramatic television shows as a writer and executive producer for multiple top-tier cable networks. He was born in Iowa, raised in the suburbs of Chicago and resides in Los Angeles with his wife and dog.
