After his girlfriend dumps him, aspiring actor Devin returns to his hometown in upstate New York, moving in with his childhood friend, Shawn. With the emotional wounds still fresh, Shawn attempts to distract Devin from his heartache by introducing him to some women, causing more harm than healing.
