Serching for identity(ies)
Mélissa, Hicham, Kevin and their classmates are flying away from Evry, near Paris on a school trip to Canada. These 15 young secondary school students are heading toward the new French Eldorado, the city of Montréal, Quebec.
For these 18 years old suburban youth from different origines, religious orientations and economic ladder, this trip is a chance to witness diversity elsewhere.
Is life easier in Montreal for the minorities?
They meet with the youth of the city on board of a yellow school bus, to meet with age alike, children of French expats, academics and associative actors.
Facing this model of society makes them reflect on their own identity and depict a fresh and vivid portrait of what could be the future of France.
