Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Literature by the University of Zaragoza and post graduate studies at the Comunidad de Madrid Film School (Ecam). After working as a freelance professional for music videos and commercials, she worked as TV and film screenwriter and as screenplay professor at San Jorge University. She has written and directed the short films Sonrisas (2005), Niño Balcón (2009) -Huesca Film Festival, Warsaw International Film Festival, St. Louis International Film Festival (SLIFF), Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival, among others- and Chan Chan (2011). After enrolling the filmmaking PhD program in Sarajevo under the leadership of Béla Tarr (film.factory) she has directed the short films Un verano (2015), Noc (2015) and The night of all things (produced by INICIA FILMS). Currently, she is developing the script for her debut long feature film, Former Education.
Noć borns from the personal need of expressing what you feel when you loose a beloved one. This loss is, surely, one of the most traumatic and painful experiences that we have to face as human beings. No one has ever prepared us for something like that, and when
happens, we don’t know how to deal with those emotions: sadness, anguish of the absence, nostalgia… And those emotions are the heart and soul of the film.
