El Orgullo
El Orgullo is a term of the pride, the male ego in Mexico, externally recognizable by the gesticulation, facial expressions, clothing and especially the shoes. The forbidden cockfight presents a perfect expression for El Orgullo. The gamecocks have beside their own pride to carry out the male pride of their owners.
