Walton has worked in Marketing at Buena Vista International, Disney and she has written sketch comedy for The Westside Theatre, LA. JUMP! is a celebration of life and love, and has audiences crying tears of joy, roaring with laughter and dancing in their seat. It was an audience favorite when it screened both in Australia and Los Angeles and was officially selected for The Burbank International Film Festival and Cinefest, LA. It stars a high profile Australian actress and comedian who have garnered critical acclaim for their heartfelt, hilarious performances!
JUMP! is a feel good romantic comedy about breaking free from fear and anxiety through music, dance, humor and compassion. It focusses on solutions to overcoming mental health issues, rather than the problem. Through Melody's character we see how unconditional love and forgiveness have immense power to break down barriers, create authentic connection and follow our dreams.
The music and love theme of the film have a symbiotic relationship. Original 80’s dance tracks were composed specifically for the film. The original score has 80’s synth pop tones, love notes and contrasting Melody and Gunter tracks.
I believe (and have personally experienced) that love and laughter are the most powerful, healing forces on the planet, which is why I’m extremely passionate about making romantic comedies that explore different kinds of love and allow audiences to laugh at their pain. We need to spread this love now more than ever!
"All you needs is love..." ... and laughter! <3
