Dive is a short observational documentary on life under Ellis Bridge unveiled through the story of a 10 year old boy, Manna and his romance with the river, Sabarmati. At the same time, it is also a story of displacement and survival.

Director Biography - Archana Chandrashekar

Archana Chandrashekar has done her B.Des in Film and Video Communication from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.

Besides being a sensitive listener, she is a very curious person and often questions and/or expresses her curiosity in the form of poetry, witty puns or out of the blue discussions with her friends.

This sensibility is reflected in her films, which usually revolve around how dreams, aspirations and relationships or a lack of these, shape up the life and survival of people in the world around her.
