This is a Stop Motion Animation Jam conducted by some of the students during the Stop Mo Express training program at Ladera Vista Junior High Art Conservatory after school program in Fullerton, California. The program is funded by the Fullerton School District, Ladera Vista Junior High and the All the Arts for All the Kids Foundation. Each student team was given an identical action figure and set loose to animate. They direct their scene working with down shooter sets created inside banker boxes wallpapered with images printed from photographs and glued inside the boxes. The animations are filmed using the students' iPads and iMotion.
Stop Mo Express is a stop motion training program. It works very well for Junior High students. This is the prefect age for learning this often overlooked craft.
