'Safe' was the heist film I always wanted to shoot. The more ideas that came to the table, the more ambitious it got. By the production stage we had a laser room, an Aikido martial artist as stunt choreographer and many authentic locations including the inside of the old treasury building on Collins Street in the Melbourne CBD.
