Elliot, a musician, is in love with Ruby. Practically speaking, he should go after the person that has touched him so deeply. However, it's easier said than done as she has a boyfriend. He shares his feelings through song and reveals the inspiration behind his music to Ruby who carries similar feelings for him of her own.

Director Biography - Raj Patel

Raj Patel is a graduate of the Portland Actors Conservatory and the Northwest Film Center's School Of Film. He has studied screen writing extensively and feels confident in his form of storytelling. Raj has participated in many aspects of production including acting, writing, directing, and editing. His films have won a few awards. Raj also actively owns and operates three hotels, a nightclub/lounge, and a restaurant/bar. He started his hospitality career the same time that he started his creative endeavors, specifically acting, in 1998. He graduated from the NW Film Center in 2015 after beginning study there in 2012.

Director Statement

This film has been a gift to me. It felt like a catalyst that opened up a bunch of things for me. Personal things in all aspects of life as well as creative endeavors which provide a lot of value in my life. Storytelling through film, for me, is just an amazing experience. It is complicated and challenging, stimulating and nourishing. I am grateful for the opportunity to be involved in the making of films. I have learned so much throughout the years. Things that helped me in all aspects of my life that have influenced me to become the person that I am today. This is my graduate thesis film and I truly hope that I will make many after it.
