Experiencing Interruptions?

Publicolor

“Too many of our schools are environments of failure. They’re so hostile. In my research I discovered that if you effect public space, you effect more people more of the time.” - Ruth Shulman, Founder and President, Publicolor
Encouraging environments create successful students. For many of New York City’s at-risk teens, positivity falls to the wayside in overcrowded, underfunded schools where they are deemed another statistic.
Publicolor is transforming schools and students lives through the scaffold of design.
The students in the 7 week summer design program learn discipline, patience, and technique through introductions to design and hands on experience. In just a summer, they gain a respect for details and hard work, learn applicable life skills, and over 90% continue on to college after the program. It works because color truly matters.
This is the power of design. The power of art. The power of color.
