Eric Reinholt was born and raised in Texas. He worked in radio for over a decade before making the transition to TV News, and then theater and film.
His life as a disc jockey began at KVTT in the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex. He transitioned into television by working as an editor for KENS-TV in San Antonio. While he was there, Chief Meteorologist Albert Flores took him under his wing, and, within a year, Eric was working as the weekend weathercaster and weekday reporter for WCJB-TV in Gainesville, Florida.
He moved on to become Chief Meteorologist at KRBC-TV in Abilene and later the morning Meteorologist at KTSM-TV in El Paso.
He caught the acting bug in Community Theater when he was cast as David Benjamin in Neil Simon's God's Favorite. Shortly thereafter, he moved out to Los Angeles and studied filmmaking.
Solar Alterations is Eric Reinholt’s directorial debut.
Live life to leave something of value behind.
