Brent Scott Maze is a writer, director, and cinematographer based out of Lincoln, Nebraska. He specializes in narrative filmmaking. Due to the fact that his forte lies in cinematography, the films he writes and directs are extremely visually stylized. His desire to bring to screen the most aesthetically pleasing and engaging visuals comes from the roots of his film influence: David Lynch, Nicolas Winding Refn, Alfonso Cuaron, and Terrence Malick.
As a graduate of the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Film and New Media, Maze’s career is just beginning as he has begun to work on short and feature films as a 1st AC, cinematographer, and screenwriter.
Maze has a deep passion for collaborating with directors and other filmmakers to bring their visions to life on the big screen. He has managed to strike a healthy balance between his career in film and his career in music.
