Experiencing Interruptions?

metamorphosis

"metamorphosis" is a short film that expresses in the most visual and artistic/abstract way the effect that drugs have on us.

It represents a change (a metamorphosis), the negative change that drugs produce. For this, the fact that we have been capable of transforming that idea into a short film makes us proud of ourselves.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who think drugs are not so bad, when they really are. Starting with this idea and using metaphores we have related different types of drugs with hazardous objects whose interaction with our organism would be fatal; cocaine becomes a broken glass, and the cigarette turns into an iron screw.

To make a tragical ending, we metaphorised drugs with plastiline; this is why the main character is "consumed" by plastiline. With this scene we wanted to make obvious that consuming drugs can have hard consequences.

We hope you liked this short firm (at least as much as we liked producing it) and that it made you think.
