Dream to Dance: Quinte Ballet School of Canada 2015 Summer Dance Intensive
This video is a collage of moments from the Quinte Ballet School of Canada's 2015 Summer Dance Intensive. Dancers came to Belleville, Ontario for the month of July from across Canada and around the world to attend this summer intensive, in the hopes of being accepted into the year-round professional training program. Over the course of the program, the dancers trained in ballet, pointe, modern, hip hop, jazz, national, creative movement and improvisation, which are all highlighted in this video.

Drew Berry is currently in her fourth year of Performance Dance at Ryerson University's Theatre School. At Ryerson, Drew has performed in Ryerson Dances, the New Voices Festival, along with choreographing and performing works in Choreographic Works and EnChoreo. Her love and passion for dance has also brought her to train at Quinte Ballet School of Canada’s Post-Graduate Program, along with summer dance intensives at Ballet BC, Ballet Jorgen Canada, Quinte Ballet School of Canada, American Ballet Theatre, ProArteDanza, School of Toronto Dance Theatre, and Kenny Pearl’s Winter Intensive. Drew has performed with Drayton Entertainment in High School Musical and toured with Ballet Jorgen Canada’s Nutcracker in the role of Klara. Along with dance, Drew has completed her grade 10 RCM piano exam, advanced rudiments, and harmony. Her passion for film began a few years ago when she and her classmates created a dance parody video and posted it to YouTube. After her YouTube channel began to generate interest, Drew began to upload videos more regularly and her channel has currently reached almost 500,000 views. At Ryerson, Drew has enrolled in film classes and has developed a great interest in the world of film and photography. Drew presented two of her works at the Emerging Artist Film Festival in Toronto 2014. She has worked with Hanna Kiel in creating promotional videos and photography for her company, 'Human Body Expressions', along with creating several promotional videos for the Quinte Ballet School of Canada. Drew is excited to graduate and to see what the world of dance and film have in store for her.
