Worry Me in the Daytime
An intimate portrait of an Australian musician on a mission to carve his place in blues history, 15,000 kilometres from its birthplace in Mississippi. By day, Chris Russell maintains a full-time job manufacturing flag poles for golf courses; by night he pursues a hectic writing, rehearsing and performing schedule playing his signature brand of juke joint blues throughout the city. ‘Worry Me in the Daytime’ follows Chris throughout the course of a Melbourne winter, from the factory to his suburban bayside home to the launch of the album that will determine the shape of his musical future.
