Hope

Characteristic feature of the ‘Hope Trilogy’ is a path of free and conscious artistic expression that has as its foundation in the concept of Meta Realism, intended as visual suggestions that offer the viewer insights and stimuli that go beyond the illusory duality between metaphysics and physical reality.
Moreover , the ‘Hope Trilogy’ intends to explore the fundamental emotions of hope and fear which are at the root of human existence. The first film is about a young girl lost in a rural area near a big park at dusk, as she is looking for shelter she hears a pulsating noise of a hammer on an anvil coming from a nearby hut. As she enters the hut a series of events give the viewer contrasting ideas about whether something dreadful has happened to her or is all just a synchronicity of multiple incongruous events, hence a deeply felt emotion of hope and fear. Images of arms floating on a nearby river increase the sense of mystery whether the girl is still alive or not and the pulsating emotions of hope and fear.
