Her short films were screened in various festivals around the world including: Montreal World Film Festival, Jerusalem International Film Festival, Beijing Film Festival, Aesthetica Short Film Festival, The Israeli Film Festivals in Boston and New York.

Through her position at Topia Communications, Lee also provided consultation and guidance to screenwriters through their writing process and she is currently the script editor of a feature-length film.
"Aya and her mother” is her thesis film.
The film tells a story of a mother and her grown daughter living under the same roof. Each of the women experience loneliness, understanding, love and friendship in her own way.
Over the years I became fascinated with engaging in the very basics of human relationships - the family. My vision for this film was to create a portrait of the most intimate moments in the lives of a mother and daughter, to expose the weaknesses and strengths in loving someone close to us, and to raise the question of whether our relatives have become transparent to us.
I am the firstborn child in my family. I was there when my siblings were born.
My family members are my first partners and my most significant relationships.
Sometimes an older sister is a mother, but a mother can sometimes be a little girl.
"Aya and Her Mother" joins a long list of films that deal with mother-daughter relationships, yet presents an independent point of view. Naomi, the mother, is the heroine of the story and the film is told from her perspective. The camera follows the heroine of the story and reveals through her eyes the world of her daughter, Aya.
The events that take place are revealed through Naomi's eyes only: the night Naomi discovers that Tomer stayed in their house, the meetings between Aya and Tomer (the man she is dating) that Naomi observes through the living room window and so on.
The film delicately explores the point in time in this intimate relationship when a third party enters the picture - a man.
