born 1978 in Hamburg, Germany. Studied film directing at the Dept. Film/Television (Prof. Yana Drouz and Prof. David Safarian) at the School of Art, University of Kassel.
She's founding member of NUR film group (www.nurfilmgroup.de) and works as a director of documentary and fiction films.
This science-fiction-report is based on my curiosity about the possibilities for "green" use of new nanotechnologies. This may seem as a conflict itself, but it doesn't have to be like that.
The film I made after researches and conversations with scientists of the Institute of Nanostructure Technologies and Analytics (INA) at the University of Kassel in Germany who is developing different types of nanotechnologies.
FARMING IN 2020 is part of a circle of five shorts concerning this topic.
