When a young slave is left behind by an Underground Railroad rescue party, he must catch up to them before his masters find him. Unfortunately, his masters have his mother as their hostage, and are in hot pursuit. Roy must battle the elements, his masters, and Harriet Tubman in order to find freedom for himself and his mother.
