Color of the Sun
This documentary follows the daily life of Oscar and Jessica, both at home and at the special school for blind children they attend in Budapest, Hungary. Both children are the only blind people in their families.
This is a story about childhood, first friendships and love, and about discovering the world and the excitement that these first discoveries bring.
It’s also a story about being different – about seeing things differently, and sharing these differences. Their lack of vision keeps these children from going about exploring the world the same way most people do. Instead, they go deeply into their own imagination when sensing the world around them. When they share their very personal perceptions with those around them, they give a unique, fresh and funny idea of how our world is really put together. In a way these kids can give us a perspective of everyday things that we wouldn’t otherwise have thought of.
