Everything is permeated with light here and its brightness is comparable only with night.
Absolute beauty is around you. Beauty which never knew the ugly.
Your thoughts will be pure and simple, like the body, because you will not be looking for a dirt. And those who are not looking for a dirt will remain clean.
You will stay forever young here, regardless how old you are.
You will be here with those whom you want, with your beloved ones, so long as you can.
And you will never know the hardness of work, because everything you will be doing will bring a delight for you.

Artist Biography

Born in Moscow, in 1965. Painter. Member of International union of graphic artists since 1990. Graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical University, graphic artist department, in 1992. Freelance journalist ad designer from 1997-1999. Professional photographer since 2000. Main shootings of architecture and interior were done for Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Salon Interior, Interni, Wallpaper magazines. Main portraits have been published in Inrerior+Design, Shtab kvartira, Mezoin magazines. Worked as travel photographer for Afisha Mir, Vokrug Sveta, Travel+Leagure magazines. Collaborated with Photo Tass in Beirut in 2007. Portraits and fashion shootings for Esquire, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, L’Officiel, Vogue, Forbes, Snob magazines. Starting from 2009 regularly works on assignments for Russian Reporter magazine . There are many advertising projects for agencies and banks in his portfolio. He shoots as well industrial architecture for major companies and holdings. His artworks are in museums and private collections. Starting from 2013 he teaches courses of portrait and documentary photography at British Higher School of Design in Moscow.1990 – 1995. Artist Statement

I am a professional artist who works in the genre of photography and tries to convey the underlying social, psychological and metaphysical processes of our everyday life, without departing from the true nature of documentary photography. I try to explore hidden causal relationships of nature, cities and their inhabitants.
The idea to shoot so called "panoramas in pieces" came to me from cinematography, as an analogue of the black and white film. The jagged and uneven form happened when I gave up the tripod for greater mobility. Later, I found this to be a benefit of photo i front of the movie because it gives more options for framing. I choose myself the frame I need - a complete balanced composition as a clean picture or a flowing one from one frame to another, like in a movie. So as director, I plan the script and as photographer, I wait for the right moment to happen. Each picture in the panorama is a single photo and together they make a time story, because sometimes several hours can pass between adjacent frames. I choose the plot in the framework of the events, while being still a reporter.
