Director Statement

A degree in film, doesn't transform you into a film maker. What it will do, (if it's a good program) is teach you to steal from great artists. The best teacher is experience. Open your eyes to the world around you and pay attention to the moments you can turn into a story. And don't wait to be invited into someone else's film project, you may wait a long time. Make your own! And if you want to be a better director/writer, learn to act!
