Portrayal of variety of thought from traditional farmers, men and women from the worlds of science, philosophy, anthropology, business and agriculture.Tradition, culture, arts, faith and indigenous beliefs contributed to Indonesia's coffee history.

Budi Kurniawan, started his professional career as assistant of editor since 2001. Graduates of Diponegoro University, Semarang. Actively involved in the study and discussion about the film at campus in the forum of Kine Klub. In 1999 participated in workshop “Low Budget Film Production” which held by British Council and London Film School, and then participated at judging in Kine Klub Film Festival that held by Senaki in Jakarta. He later motivated to explore film industry to be more serious.
In 2008, officially invited by the Government of South Korea to participate “Asia Next Leader” program which later brought him to Korea to learn more about film industry and its wisdom in Korea.
Since 2009 map out a creative studio named budfilm. Consistantly since 2011 he pursue the journey of Biji Kopi Indonesia which is become his first debut as writer and director documentary film after after experienced commercial movie industry for 10 years.
