Craig is an award-winning director born in Cardiff, Wales. As a seven year old he became passionate about film making after his parents gave him a Super 8 camera for his birthday and he quickly set about making "film stars" of all his family and friends.
He first began writing as a teenager when he joined the Orbit Youth Theatre gaining his first experience of acting, writing and directing.
In 1989 Craig worked for independent production company White Elephant as Director of Photography shooting half-hour adaptations of Shakespeare plays.
In 1995 he enrolled at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design. After three years he left SIAD with a BA Hon's Film Degree.
Next Craig formed his own production company The Workshop Presents… making many short films (notably the award winning LITTLE BLUE SPOT which also played the BBC short film festival), as well as music promos and commercials.
He also worked as a director for several production companies such as Angelic, Corkscrew and Addiction.
In 2000 Craig joined London Management where he developed several scripts. In 2002 he joined Renting Eyeballs where he directed music videos aired on MTV.
Craig made his debut feature film entitled THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS. The film screened at festivals worldwide and won the award for Best Horror at SBFF 2007. It has since been picked up for Worldwide Rights by US distributor Continuum and has recently been released in the US in partnership with eOne Films.
Also in 2007 Craig co-founded production company Go Faster Stripe directing live comedy DVDs for artists such as Stewart Lee, Richard Herring, Simon Munnery and Robin Ince.
In 2012 Craig co-created and directed The Nightvision Experiment, an on-line horror experience developed in conjunction with Channel 4 starring Keith Allen (Trainspotting), Shazad Latif (Spooks) and Ray Quinn.
Craig is currently in postproduction on his second feature film THE LONG ROAD. The film will be ready for the market early next year.
In addition he has several projects in development including a slate of feature films in partnership with Banshee Productions, a six part surreal comedy entitled PICTURESHOW, a three-part TV drama entitled HOME SWEET HOME and a web series called BAR BOYS.
