Experiencing Interruptions?

By War & By God

How does war shape a man? Vietnam was long ago, but it’s impact lives on and the battles continue in the hearts and minds of many U.S. soldiers. In the jungle heat, the sweat, and the blood they became men. But today, over 40 years later, Vietnam is the land where these men become heroes. By War & By God tells the harrowing stories of a small group of men whose lives were forever shaped by the war, but whose faith has led them back to that beautiful land to love, serve, and care for the people of Vietnam. Through first-person interviews, archival war footage, and present-day on-location filming, the stories of these amazing “Vets with a Mission” will be a testimony of the good that can come out of a handful of lives that are touched By War & By God.

Director Statement

By War & By God is a powerfully redemptive story about a group of Vietnam Veterans who all survived the hell of war and who return to that amazing land to love, serve, and care for the people of Vietnam. It is a truly one of those rare examples of something beautiful coming out of something as awful as war.
