TRANSAGENDA
Molly and Anna are Media and Cultural Studies students at Macalester College. Transagenda is an extension of a final project that they did for their Community Video class revolving around concepts from participatory video. Completed over the span of two months with no budget, Molly and Anna got to know Jobi and Brandi and were lucky enough to listen to and document their stories. This is Molly and Anna's first film but they look forward to making more together in the future.

Anna Andersen currently attends Macalester College where she majors in Media and Cultural Studies and International Studies. During her final years at Macalester she has jumped into the film world of Minneapolis by working on "Transagenda" with Molly Stark-Ragsdale; creating promotional videos for Mizna, the Arab Arts organization based in the Twin Cities; and collaborating on "Lifestyle Deathmatch" as part of the Fringe Festival. Anna looks forward to continuing to make socially relevant films that spark discussion and debate in her community.
Molly is in the process of completing her Media and Cultural Studies degree from Macalester College. Molly is currently working on a moving art exhibit featured at the Walker Arts Center. She hopes to create more films in the future similar to "Transagenda."
Transagenda is the first film created by Anna Andersen and Molly Stark-Ragsdale. This film tells the stories of two trans youth who have experienced homelessness in the recent past told through the lens of disposable photographs.
