Dark Illusion
Alkis is an introverted photographer with a disorder of personality.
Despite the strong relationship he has developed with his mother, he
reaches in despair due to the tension that exists between her and his
alcoholic father. As a consequence, he decides to leave the family
home and move to his own place. A journalistic project he gets
involved in will disturb his fragile personal balance with several parts of
his current life being challenged. Trapped in a complex of
contradictions, he will try to find the way that will redeem himself.

Greek Film Lovers Club Award
He was born in Komotini, Greece, in 1990. He graduated from the Polytechnic School of Thessaloniki’s Aristotle University. He joined the student theater group CHNOU in 2009 and a year later he took part in the on-line short film contest of his university with his directorial debut, Let Me Sleep. It was at that time that Katrakylontas Productions was unofficially formed. In 2011 he directed the short comedy PAPARIA. In 2012 he directed the short film The Dismissal.In 2014 he directed his first full-length movie, a no-budget psychological thriller named “Dark Illusion”, that won the audience award in the 55th Thessaloniki International Film Festival in its debut screening.
