Oscar Camacho is a 35 years old director from Barcelona, Spain. He worked as a TV screenwriter and made some low cost digital films. This is his first movie in English and filmed in United States. He's preparing a web series and writing a new film.
I wanted to make a low budget science fiction movie. In New York. Mixing what's real and what's not. The movie plays with the idea of what you can believe.
When Francis Ford Coppola said that everybody could make a movie in the future I was thinking he was talking about technology... But in this project I've learnt that you can tell the story you really want. Ok, if you want to make Pacific rim or Iron Man 3, better get money for the robots... But I could tell this story without a big budget. And even more: It made everything funnier. The story was funnier because if you can't watch the robots fighting, could you believe a robot story? That's the game of this movie. No, there's no robots here. But there's a war, killings, terrorist attacks, a party, time and space travels...
