Director Biography - Lyna Ward, Abraham Castro Bazúa

Lyna Ward is a long-time choreographer and educator, first-time filmmaker. She is presently a professor for the bilingual education program at the Universidad Interamericana de Guaymas and is a translations project manager and editor for a Cambium Learning Group publishing house. She has choreographed over 30 meaningful pieces and has directed 11 live shows. Her choreography and poetry have been supported and received in Los Angeles (California), Tucson (Arizona), Long Island (New York), Guaymas (Sonora), and Guadalajara (Jalisco). Her graduate studies include art and philosophy at the Universidad de Guadalajara. Right now she's a new mother and dances and creates whenever she can. She writes everyday. Also, her growing passion for multimedia art is moving her in new and exciting directions.
