Refik lives with his family. One day he comes to his home and he realizes his mother's absence. With his mother's absence, Refik realizes his mother's existing. Refik starts to discover himself and his mother when his mother came home.This discovering will cause to; Refik's realize differences of genres and his effort to locate between the genres.

Director Biography - Osman Yardım

He was born in Van in 10 October 1993. A few years ago he emigrated to Antalya. He completed his first school and high school in Antalya. After than he went to the Akdeniz University Fine Arts Faculty Cinema - TV section. He interested with literature and theatre aside from cinema. "The Root" is his first professional fiction film project.
