An emerging Director, Writer, and long time Musician; also a recent graduate of Human Rights and Women's Studies. Brandon Thomas Ng's work consists of both emulsion and digital filmmaking. When working alone, Ng attempts to question many of the choices we make as youth in a society in transition; from a baby-booming politic to the new generation of interconnected, super-accountable, data rich, individuals who are finding out what it means to live in a world they cannot keep up with yet.
With the word 'activism' holding so much value and variance in meaning - concerning how, for example, effective it is, Ng focuses on the passion that fuels his art, rather than how many people can be convinced of a specific ideology, which is why the themes he touches on can be viewed through lenses varying from the comical to the philosophical.
