Director Biography - Craig Kane

Craig graduated from the Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT Dun Laoghaire) in 2010 having completed two BA courses: Model-making for Film and Media, followed by Animation. He has since worked on a range of prominent shows for Disney Jnr., Nickelodeon and the BBC including Octonauts, Doc McStuffins, Olivia and Peter Rabbit, as well as award-winning shorts including Origin and Birdfood. He currently works for Brown Bag Films as a lighter and compositor. Additionally he is a also a director for the company’s short film collaboration with Roddy Doyle’s Fighting Words creative writing schools, having co-directed the 2013 short animation “The Battle For Ravenwind”, and the 2015 “The Story Will Be Revealed in the Movie”.
