Feet in the Sand
Life throws us challenges and surprises which often helps us to think differently while facing the reality of life itself. This short film intends to give the viewers a pleasant surprise exhorting us to believe that there are people who finds the brighter shades of life even when facing difficult times. The film encapsulates the story of a boy in a wheel chair, his parents and some onlookers in beach setting in which everyone seems to be immersed in their own worlds. The surprise in the story comes when these worlds collide causing a paradigm shift to our visual and cognitive perceptions about what we see about other people's lives

Mani, as he is affectionately called by his friends, is 41 year old and lives in Payyanur, Kerala. He has been involved in music, photography, drama since his younger days. He has composed music for TV serial (Kinaav – Directed by Priyanandanan), a number Dramas and worked as Still Photographer for documentaries. He made his short film debut with 'Feet in the Sand' in 2015 and won best short film award in P M Taj memorial shortfilm festival held in Kozhikode, Kerala, India
He and his wife, Aparna who is an accomplished classical dancer, established ‘Kalamandapam’ in payyanur for teaching performing arts including dance, drama & music and remains a hub for interaction for creative minded people around Payyanur
