Director Biography - Sean Hodgkinson

Sean Hodgkinson is a writer, director and producer. After finishing his first degree in Environmental Policy and Geography at Brock University in Canada, he moved back to Trinidad where serendipity allowed him to attain his dream working as a production coordinator in the industry he wanted to be a part of.

Sean pursued a certificate in Filmmaking from the London Film Academy in 2009 and has enjoyed consistent success since. In 2010, he started writing his first screenplay and two years later, A Story About Wendy premiered at the Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival 2012 and also screened at the Zanzibar International Film Festival 2013.
This inspired Sean to write A Story About Wendy 2, which
premiered at the Zanzibar International
Film Festival in June 2014 and also screened at the Trinidad and Tobago Film festival 2014 where it won the People’s Choice award.

Trafficked is Sean’s latest project, a co-production with Eye On Dependency.

Sean is currently working on two projects, the feature length conclusion to A Story About Wendy, simply called “Wendy 3,” and the comedic short, “The Weekend.”
