Experiencing Interruptions?

ATELIER DA RUA

The short-film ATELIER DA RUA (STREET ATELIER) presents a project that was finalist of the social entrepreneurship competition IOP'2014, an initiative of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in the context of the current Portuguese migratory movements.

ATELIER DA RUA is:
- a project to talk, think, design and build our streets collectively;
- an urban design methodology towards a more participated city, linking local and global, traditional and innovative resources;
- a tool for projects imagined, designed and built with the community throughout the different stages of the process to improve the public space and create more human and valued places.

Between a permeable and positive dialogue of skills and approach between public and private sector, this project with a strong global dimension wants to be able to support and to contribute to a wide network of partners and intervention contexts.
