A short animation piece following Kit, a young teenager with an unhappy home life. Kit escapes to the forest where he meets a strange forest spirit named Linden. Linden is able to aid Kit using her magic, but are her intentions good?

Director Biography

Charlotte was born in Scotland and recently graduated high school. She grew up surrounded by fairy tales and folklore and these themes reflect strongly in her work. She plans to study Art and Design at a higher level and is excited to work on future animation projects.

Director Statement

This was my first ever film/animation, and although it was exceedingly stressful at times, I thoroughly enjoyed working on it. This was a solo project I undertook for AH Art and Design, and so I had to write, design, create, film and produce everything. This was challenging, but allowed me to learn a great many new skills. I hope this opens up opportunities for my future in animation, and I hope you enjoy watching my short piece as much as I enjoyed working on it.
