Director Biography - Viola Folador

Viola Folador was born in 1993
She has always been in love with writing, film and photography, as a child is influenced by the gothic soul of Edgar Allan Poe, the films by Tim Burton and fascinated by all that is strange, intricate, decadent.
She makes some experiences on many stages of amatorial theater, she is only 19 years old when she brings on stage at the Teatro Cinema Nuovo of Varese the play "The Corpse Bride" by Tim Burton, where she is actress and director.
After finishing her high school specialized in foreing languages, she enrolls at the Film Institute Michelangelo Antonioni.
During her studies she takes part in numerous productions, mainly short films and commercials as assistant director and production assistant, also with writers and directors such as Virgilio Villoresi.
In 2013 she founds the group Lightman Productions with a colleague and she directs her first commercials such as 'The Future is growing', 'Basta poco' and 'Paul and tennis' purchased from CheBanca.
'Matrioska' is her first short film that she wrote and directed personally and through which begins to be known thanks to numerous appearances at festivals and screenings.
Afterward, thanks to Confcommercio - Terziario Donna, ICMA and Moviechrome, realizes a second short film: 'Samuel'. Also she started working as production assistant and assistant director to production companies such as ComboCut Film and Moviechrome.
