On the flowery meadows of the Italian Alps life is dominated by colors. For some colors are just an attraction, for others they are an important tool for survival. Bumblebees are flying to the colorful flowers to collect nectar while small spiders use color as camouflage, quietly waiting for prey.

Isabella Bollini was born in Turin, Italy. After a degree in Natural Sciences (BSc. , 2006) and another one in Ethology (MSc. , 2008) she started working in animal research and conservation projects in Europe, Africa and South America.
After several years of field work she decided to join the wildlife documentary world.
In 2014 she earned her Master of Art in Wildlife Documentary Production at the University of Salford (UK) and produced her first short documentary “Colourful lunch strategies” .
